Plastic Surgery Trends for Summer

Summer is almost here, and the sunny, warm weather often encourages people to have plastic surgery to show off their new look. Plastic surgery trends evolve, and this summer is no different.

If you’re considering cosmetic procedures as summer approaches, some of the trends are detailed below.

Injectable Fillers

San Antonio injectable fillers are an excellent way to change your look without surgery. Fillers can give you younger-looking, refreshed skin as you enjoy the sun in your shorts or bathing suit.

With fillers, you will have little downtime, so you can have fast results and go back to your routine, often the same day!

There are several options your plastic surgeon may consider for you, such as Juvederm. This is a gel containing hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the skin. Hyaluronic acid adds volume and hydration to your skin.

It’s injected under your skin to smooth wrinkles and may be used to make the lips fuller. This substance degrades over time, so the effects can vary. Other fillers containing hyaluronic acid are Perlane and Restylane. Both are like Juvederm and help to reduce folds and fine lines.

Another filler is Poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen production in your skin. This substance is injected over about three months. It lasts longer than other dermal fillers, so it’s a good choice.

Non-Surgical Fat Reduction

This non-surgical procedure, also known as CoolSculpting, has become quite popular in the past five years. With summer coming and more people wanting a slimmer profile, many are talking about CoolSculpting.

This procedure uses ‘fat freezing’ or cryolipolysis to freeze undesirable fat cells in the abdomen, belly, flanks, thighs, and other areas. This option is popular because it’s effective and requires no surgery.

Ideal candidates are fit and have fat pockets in areas that are resistant to diet and exercise. CoolSculpting requires no anesthesia, incisions, or downtime. It’s a terrific option for those who want a new, slimmer look for summer!

Brazilian Butt Lift

As the Kardashians have become so popular, more people want to have a larger, rounder rear. The butt lift was one of the most popular plastic surgeries in 2015, and it’s getting more popular this year.

The San Antonio Brazilian butt lift enhances the size and prominence of the buttocks. It’s ideal for women who crave a more prominent, rounder butt.

The butt lift involves using liposuction to remove fat from other body parts, such as the belly. Next, the fat is washed, processed, and injected carefully into the buttocks for more ideal contours.

Labiaplasty

The stigma that was once associated with cosmetic surgery has faded as more Americans go under the knife. One of the growing procedures is San Antonio labiaplasty, also known as female rejuvenation.

This procedure reduces the size of the inner and outer labia that may have stretched due to childbirth. For many patients, this problem makes it difficult to wear tight clothing due to the appearance and discomfort. Also, some women are embarrassed in the bedroom by the appearance of their genitalia.

Some plastic surgeons believe the interest in labiaplasty is because more people are aware of the surgery. It becomes more popular every year.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

This procedure uses a Deka laser to treat wrinkles, scars, and sun-damaged skin on the face. The laser resurfaces the skin on the neck and face, ensuring that the person can enhance their pigmentation and skin tone.

Laser resurfacing may be a good choice if you have mild lines and wrinkles on the face, as well as acne scars. Sometimes, laser skin resurfacing can reduce sunspots on the face.

Eyelid Surgery

Do you want a more significant change for the sunny months? Then you could be interested in San Antonio eyelid surgery. This popular procedure can eliminate sagging skin above and below the eyes.

The eyelid procedure is simple with little downtime. But it can make a dramatic difference in how your face looks. It can make you look younger and more awake, among other benefits. Some patients also have a San Antonio brow lift with the eyelid procedure too.

Most patients only need a local anesthetic for eyelid surgery. Healing only takes a few weeks, and the scars are almost invisible.

Male Breast Reduction

Male breast reduction also is trending this summer. Many men are just as insecure as women when they need to put on a bathing suit and show more of their bodies.

Some men are born with a genetic tendency to grow breasts, especially when they gain weight. This cosmetic procedure (San Antonio gynecomastia) reduces the male breast and gives a more masculine appearance.
